Are Disney Dollars used in DL? Can I get them at the Disney Store?

Hi everyone

I'm new to this forum. My sister is going to DL next week as a reward to herself for graduating nursing school.

As a graduation gift, I'm thinking about giving her Disney Dollars for souvenirs. Can I just go to my local Disney Store and get them there? Is there a "cost" for them (Does 1 DD=1 US Dollar)?

Please help me out. I'll be leaving at 11 AM CDT to go to the mall.

Yes they can be used at Disneyland. And the exchange rate is $1 dollar = $1 Disney.

You can get Disney dollars at the Disney Store and it is 1 Dis. Dollar equals $1.00. They can be used at all of the Disney Theme Parks and Disney Stores. They do make great gifts!

I had used Disney Dollars on my recent trip. Also, if your sister doesn't use all of them, she can exxchange them at Disney for dollars.
