Are codes working for non-AP, non-Visa?

I'm on hold with DIsney right now. I started calling just before 7 am, but got cut off twice. So, now who knows how long I'll be on hold!

I don't want to stay on hold if the codes for the general public aren't out yet. So, has anyone gotten a discount this morning that *didn't* require an Annual Pass or a Disney Visa card? Does code BAT work for people with no Disney Visa card? Are there any other codes I should try?

BAT is a general public code. Got a discount on AKL savannah for dec 6-12. Cm said rates at this code are very limited.

Yes, it is very limited. I called about Poly-GV for 10/22-10/29 and it was not available for any nights.

This is my 4th year in a row of planning Disney vacations since learning of these discounts and this year has been the worst. I've always been able to get an AP or General discount for Poly-GV in Sep or Oct.

We still got a discount this year - the 5+2 - but I wanted to discount the one-night room-only reservation before the package starts.

I think the 5+2 then the e-mails then the postcards really filled up the rooms, that's why there was such slim pickin's for EWP and BAT.

Crumbs, anyone?

I just got off the phone with Disney -- very short wait (I didn't even get to listen to 1 complete Disney song while waiting!). We used the Dreammaker pkg code and got it applied to all our days (even though Mousesavers said part of our stay was "blacked-out").

Great service, Disney!

Just called. Not on hold at all. It said a long wait expected, then went through the options. The phone then rang about 20 times and then someone answered. I said I wanted to apply the code BAT and three minutes later I was off the phone with an extra $143.00 to spend. This was for CSR in December for 7 nights. This extra $143.00 is off of the AAA rate I already had. Someone with rack rate may experience a much greater savings, but I am still happy. Good luck to everyone. Used the 407#, not the 800#

Well, I tried calling in on the 407-WDISNEY number on my cell phone while still on hold with the regular phone on 407-939-7784. Someone answered at 407-WDISNEY right away, but had trouble hearing me because my cell phone wasn't coming through well! After a couple minutes of having trouble hearing each other on my cell, someone picked up on my other line! I said goodbye on the cell phone, and was able to book my discount on the regular phone. Hooray!

I'm wondering, though, why the wait times vary so much. On the line where they picked up right away, I had accidentally entered that I was planning a Grand Gathering. I wonder if that helped? When I said I only had two people in my party, that didn't seem to be a problem.

I called 1-800-828-0228. I don't know if it was the time or that I was calling from Chicago or what ... but it was the SHORTEST wait I've ever had.
