Are codes treated similar to seasons?

I know that if you book a room at disney and your first day is part of say value season but then the next day the price jumps because it is peak season, that you still get the value season price. Do codes work the same way? For instance using the newest code if I were to book five days starting on Oct 2nd (the last day for the code) would I get the code rate for the remaining four days?

Yep, I'm currently booked at ASMU for 9/28 - 10/5 ( through Dreams Unlimited) at the AP rate of $55/nt for my entire stay even though both AP rates and Value Season rates expire 10/2.
