Are children under 3 free???

I'm planning our first trip to Disney- and wasn't sure by the way the park hopper tickets were worded whether or not children under age of 3 were free?

They most certainly are!!! DD had 3 trips under her belt before turning 3!!!

...that the under three set are free at buffets too. Our first trip DD ate free at Chef Mickey's and CRT!

You bet they are free!!! I'm getting in one more trip for DD right before she turns 3 just because of that reason. I also take advantage of the buffets, pre plated and family style meals and dinner shows! What a deal!

one more thing. If your child is under 3 at time of check in but turns 3 while you are there they are still free for the remainder of that visit.

That is really good to know - DS will be three Feb 2005 and we are planning a birthday trip to WDW and DCL....if we can arrange our dates to hit WDW before he turns 3, then DCL after he is free at the World and still old enough for DCL Kids Club - if we can master the potty training by then!!

We will be staying at Pop Century at the end of Feb, and have been told that we have free child breakfasts for children over 3. Are under-3's included in this too?

Does Disney ask for a birth certificate or any proof of age? Our son will be one month shy of his 3rd birthday when we are there. He's average size, but he speaks very well. I just don't want people thinking that he's 3 and that I'm trying to sneak him in or something!

I have never heard of them asking for proof. On our last trip my nephew was actually 3yr2mo and my stepsister passed him off as 3 the whole trip for admission and meals (No, I am not condoning this. It does bother me and I think it's wrong, but as it wasn't my child I stayed out of it). When asked (which I think happened once) she just said he was 2 and that was the end of it. He is on the big side also. Let people think what they want, you know the truth that he is still 2!
