Are Cape May and the Albatross Cruise definitely at the same location?

I have called 3 times trying to get this right and gotten three different answers. I want to have breakfast at the same place as the cruise since my youngest is too little to go on the pirate cruise, but we will need to be at the location for two hours waiting for them with a pager.

I tried to get the GF cruise, but it was booked. The Albatross is the only other one with a restaurant at the same location, right?

They had me cruising out of Carib. Beach resort and eating at Cape May telling me it was the same place. I called back and got a different answer. And then again, and got another CM with another answer. She promised me that Cape May's and the Albatross Cruise are at the same place.

But I thought I would check with the experts. :)

Thanks!

From allearsnet.com:
The Bayside Marina near the Yacht Club also offers a special Albatross Treasure Cruise for children ages 4-10 -- Children will wear bandannas as they follow clues and sail to many exotic "ports of call" around Crescent Lake and Epcot looking for treasure. During the voyage, children will hear a reading of "The Legend of the Albatross." At the final port of call, children will have lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cookie, and juice box, and will split up the "buried treasure." Held Wednesdays 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Children must be potty trained -- no pull-ups. Price is $28.17 plus tax per child. Reservations are recommended. Call 407-WDW-DINE.

Cape May is at the Beach Club and the Albatross Cruise is at the Yacht Club. They are connected...it's an easy walk.

Have fun!:thumbsup2

Oh dear! My reservations are for MONDAY. Do you think its another screw up??

Thanks for the info!

Oh no! I would call and confirm...the info from allears may be slightly outdated as Disney adds and changes stuff so often.

Good luck!:thumbsup2

Not sure where I found it, but when I was planning, I found that the Albatross Cruise is offered on Wednesday and Friday.

Please give us (or at least me via PM) and review of the cruise. I'm thinking of booking it for my nephew, he's be 6, will be almost 7 then, thanks.

We did the Albatross cruise in November and the kids loved it. Everyone was great and that was one of the highlights of the trip. We are doing the one from POR this time. They still pull out the treasure chests and bandanas and play. My DD is 8 and my DS is 4.

They better be because that is what we have booked too! We have a Friday date w/ my older 2 going on the Albatross cruise and the younger one and dh and I going to Cape May for breakfast.

I called and confirmed with a CM that it is offered on Monday's now as well. And she also reassured me that they were both in the same location (or a very short walk apart). We will have a car, so we are safe on that; I just didn't want to be going from say, the POR over to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, you know? I wanted to do the cruise and the breakfast in the same location since we wouldn't want to worry about not being there to pick them up on time. And I wanted to do something fun for our youngest too since she cannot go and will be disappointed. We had a breakfast at the Polynesian and a cruise at POR, but I thought that could lead to disaster. Plus dd doesn't know who Lilo and Stitch are. I'm glad she will see Mickey and friends at Cape May.

So it looks like it will work out well! I'm so excited! We have never been able to book a pirate cruise before as they were all sold out. The GF cruise is sold out for our vacation this time. I was a little disappointed as I love to go to the GF for any meal, and love the view of the MK from GF. BUT - I love that the pirate cruise goes to the world showcase from the Yacht Club. So cool! I wish I could go on it!!!!

Thanks again!
