Are Cabanas not listed on the shore excursions page at Castaway Cay?

I am finally platinum and at least have a slight chance to get a cabana at Castaway Cay! Our booking window doesn't open for a while but I was looking at back up excursions in case we want to do something else and I don't even see Cabanas listed under the excursions page????? Do they show up when you booking window opens or is there a new way to reserve them now outside of the shore excursion page?

They will show up on the Excursions page for your CC day. They may not show up until you are actually in your booking window. Good luck!

Thanks....I haven't even tried to book one for a long time as I figure unless we were sailing concierge we weren't going to get one. Probably won't this time either but at least I have a slight chance

When is your cruise? You actually probably do have at least a shot at a cabana since you are platinum. We are booked on an early Sept Fantasy sailing and I did not book until under the 120 days out I can also book as Platinum. There was the family (the big one) and #19 remaining when I got my online checkin done and jumped in to book Palo, spa, etc. I would surely be ready to book right at the whistle of 120 days! That's my other problem. The day my booking window opens I am on a cruise in Europe and need to figure what time the midnight booking window is there!!!! Our cruise is a NYE cruise and pretty much sold out. I don't need a cabana to have a wonderful trip.....but I really really really want one!

That is one awesome problem to have! (being on a European cruise)

Is there anyone you can trust to log in as you and do the booking?? Internet can be pretty spotty on cruise ships as you likely know...

I've been platinum for the last few cruises and have only been able to obtain a cabana once. We were on a 3 day 4 day back to back. I was able to grab one for the 3 day but not for the 4 day. I'm assuming that more new cruisers were on the 3 day and were unaware of the cabana or did not want to pay the price.

I'll try again for our December trip, but it looks like concierge is already sold out. Wish me luck.

Don't ever give up. Stalking can work, especially as the cruise date gets closer and people who have one booked decide they don't want to keep it. I've snagged cabanas twice this way - once about three weeks before the cruise and once on the last night booking was open.

They appear on port adventure page, at the bottom, for CC. Good luck, I am platinum and they are always gone when the window opens.

I once got a cabana as a Gold when I first checked-in at 105 days. It was for a January cruise, so maybe there was less demand.

I was lucky to get one as a silver member (we'll be gold after this cruise) on a random afternoon about 5 days after our window opened last week. Stalking can definitely work. The cabin that became available showed up in alphabetical order; usually they're at the bottom because that's where all the sold out excursions go.

Good luck, DW sat up the night during hurricane Matthew to get the family Cabana for a cruise. I think she would have enjoyed your challenging situation more. It was at the platinum booking window and she found a few so it may be possible.

Why not just bring an extra watch that is set for and left on your home time zone [where you know when the booking window opens] ? Then no guessing and converting. Even better if thee watch has an alarm you can set to remind you just before it opens.
