Are CAA/AAA rates available for all of 2006?

I called Disney tonight to book a 10 night room only stay at POR from Nov. 29th, 2006 on. I told him that I am a CAA member and he said that the AAA discounts are not available for that time yet. I thought they were already available for all of 2006. I'm not sure if he was just rushing me off the phone (it was near closing time for them) or if there's nothing available at that resort at that time. I'm thinking he was just rushing me, as I had asked for a non-smoking room, etc, and he said that I could just add on my requests at a later time, as I have plenty of time till my trip. He just seemed eager to get off the phone.

AAA rates are out for all of 2006. I'm assuming that CAA and AAA are the same, but I don't know that for sure. I'm currently holding a December 2006 reservation with AAA rates, and others have posted here the same.

I had a CM tell me something the other day when I was making a reservation, by the way, that I think is just plain old misinformation, but I'll post it here anyway, in the event it might be true. He said that for AAA rates, the first day governs your whole stay, so if AAA is available for the first day, you get it for the stay. The reason I say I think that's incorrect is that I actually booked a trip a long long time ago where I got an AAA rate for some of the nights but not all of them. But who knows, maybe things have changed.

Thank-you Yes CAA and AAA are the same, CAA is just the Canadian equivalent, but we're eligible for the same discounts.

I had a feeling they were available, but he was just in such a rush to get off the phone. I'll phone back in the morning.

the rate you have when you check in should stay the same for your whole stay..unless you have split reservations.

I was just on the phone with them yesterday and was told specifically that the AAA rate was good for the entire year.

You can book a AAA rate through AAA directly. I've called Disney and tried to make AAA reservations and they tell me the rates aren't out yet.
