Everything from sound quality, noise isolation, comfort, etc. etc. It's pretty much like any other product, in that there are well built quality models and junky knock offs.
When you say "bluetooth" what exactly are you referring too?
A headset?
I prefer the "bluetooth" speakerphone type things that attach to the sun visor, but our cars have built in "bluetooth" where the car stereo becomes your phone.

Anewman has a point. Technically the term "Bluetooth" is a term for the 2.4 Ghz wireless technology that allows devices to talk to each other. Everyone just says bluetooth when talking about the headsets, so I just assumed that.
I don't get it either. THen they get mad at you when you 'answer' them-they point to their ear like you NOTICED the abnormal growth coming out of their ear under their hair .

I don't get that either. I have one, but only use it when I am in the car. I think those people look kinda stupid, sorta looks like they are talking to themselves. Now, if I am on it in the car, you don't know if I am on the phone or singing to the radio
OP, I have a Motorola one that I like, now I have only had it a week, but for $20 it serves its purpose. I won't use it much, only for driving, so I didn't want to pay a fortune for it. I would like to have one of those headsets for my work phone, it would save my neck.
I have the pink one that goes with the RAZR phone...don't remember what it cost - $50? It's so comfortable that I can wear it for hours, no problem. I've gone looking for it not realizing that I still had it on - that's how comfy it is.
I can hear better out of that thing than I do the phone itself (but the phone sucks).
The only problem I have is that other people sometimes complain that I sound funny when I talk on it.
But I love the freedom of being able to dust or do laundry (or DIS) while I'm on the phone.
DVR is the best thing to happen to TV since color...and those headset thingies are the best thing to happen to phones since cordless.
Thanks for the replies - yep I was checking on the headsets. I went to edit my post & mention that but for some reason it didn't show up.
Dh wants one for the car - he drives a stick shift so he can't talk to me & shift @ the same time & I ALWAYS call him on his 20 min drive! Ya know I can't wait those 20 mins! LOL
AND he has a loud car that needs muffler fixin' & no air so the windows are always down - so noise will be an issue somewhat.
Can you tell me then what brands to stay AWAY from that are junk?
There are teachers in my school that wear theirs all day. I'm surprised that nobody has said anything to them yet. Seriously, who can you be talking to when you have a class full of students? I think it is totally unprofessional.
One of the teachers will sit at lunch and have a full conversation with someone on the phone and every now and then she'll talk to the rest of us and then gets snippy if we don't answer her back. I guess we should just know when it's our turn to get attention.
I really like using mine because a Blackberry is kind of awkward to hold. It's smaller than the older models, but still wider than a normal phone.
For some reason, the ear plug really hurts my ears. It's about all I can stand to keep it in my ear for an entire car ride. It's got excellent sound quality, but bothers me!
