Are BCV studios harder to get or was this just a fluke?

Called MS last week, and checked on studios across all WDW DVC resorts for May 14-24 period

BWV, OKW, VWL had studios for all nights
SSR did not (new resort attracting lots of bookings)

BCV did not have any of the Sun-Thur nights

Was this just a fluke or does BCV have a smaller # of studios or are BCV studios just harder to book?

hm...

well BCV has 110 studios maximum (36 ded, 74 lockoff), so there are still more studios than VWL (only 65 studios max).
BWV has the most studios, at 242 maximum. OKW has 226 lockoff studios.
actually, SSR will have ~288 studios when the whole resort is done?

maybe because BCV is still newer than VWL so it's in higher demand?

Also, the Flower and Garden Festival in Epcot-nearer BCV? Just a thought. I remember calling for ressies for early December and studios were available at BCV, but not VWL at 10 1/2 months out.

I don't know.
I tried today to book June 6-11 and there weren't any studios available at BCV, BWV, VWL. I booked OKW but didn't even think to ask about SSR. The Epcot area is my favorite place to stay. I like being close to the parks and the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. I'm on the list and keeping my fingers crossed!
What do you think my chances are of asking if SSR is available?! ha ha!

Good point on the F&G - I view BWV and BCV as having essentially the same location
