Are BBB and the Chill Spa usually open the first day?

Does anyone know if the Chill Spa and BBB are usually open the first night of a cruise? We'll be traveling with DD13 and our niece 9 and I thought it might be fun to send DD13 to the Chill Spa for a mani/pedi and then our niece to BBB for a makeover that same night. Are they usually both open the first night? TIA!

Also, this will be DD's first time being old enough for the Chill Spa, so any tips or info would be great

Not sure about Chill Spa, although the main spa is open on the first night. BBB is open on the first night.

This was pre-COVID, but when my DD was 14, she and I went to the Chill spa on embarkation afternoon to see about getting her an appointment for a manicure sometime during the cruise. They asked us if she wanted to do it right then, and we agreed. Based on that, I'd say yes, it's open on the first day.
