I would love to take my family when we're there in October. Are they still being offered?

They were still doing a presentation in early August when we were there.

DH, DS22 (who may purchase his own DVC soon) and myself did 1pm tour/reception this past Monday 8/23 which you'd need a reservation for, our DDs 19 & 13 did not attend. Most of time is spent at Top of the World Lounge during which a video presentation takes place, talk by guides and trivia game with prizes played, DS won a very nice desk clock :thumbsup2 ( my thanks to Sandi for information posted in her TR from early August :goodvibes regarding tour/reception ). We were staying at SSR and called day before for reservation; simply pressed DVC button on villa phone & guide who answered set us up. It takes about 1 hour and many families had young kids along; some kids tagged along for tour & others went to community hall with CM instead. It seemed to be boring for younger kids who attended and even older teens so we were glad that our DDs did not come along as they would have felt it was a waste of their time :rotfl:

There is a no reservation walk up tour just to see 2 bedroom villa offered later in afternoon as well.

I will say that pictures do not do BLT villas any justice, DH & DS & I were very impressed and liked BLT much more than we imagined. BLT owners you have got yourselves a beautiful home :goodvibes We are very tempted to add on points there.

Best wishes :)

Congratulations to your son!!! It certainly is a resort that has caused me to have addonitis!!! I have to sign the papers and return them tomorrow for our 30 point add on!!!

We were also at the 1 p.m. tour on 8/23! :)

I won one of the bags and dh won the extra set of instant fast passes.:thumbsup2

We had our two kids 11 & 15 and they liked the tour. What a nice resort! The views from the lounge are spectacular! We were tempted to add-on but we just bought a re-sale at the BWV last month through Disney so we declined.

The tour is fun, you get a chance to win some things, we got a free DVC bag, portfolio, pin and instant fast-passes - certainly worth an hour of our time.

Hi Sandi :wave2: and Congrats to you on your add-on !! That's awesome :goodvibes We loved BLT  so glad we got to see it this trip (actually our split stay these past 6 days was originally supposed to be Dolphin-BLT but then we needed to push back dates a bit and couldn't get later BLT dates so got SSR which was our 1st stay there & we did like that resort alot too). I think if we weren't so set on adding on at Hilton Head Island that DH would have said BLT for add-on, of course I will do my best to convince him we should add-on at both :rotfl: Thanks again for details on BLT tour, you convinced us it was worth going over for a look and it definitely was; I think DVC should cut you in on some commission $ :thumbsup2

Hi Jill  Small world !!!! I was wondering if others from the DIS boards might have been there on Monday ! After our DDs heard that their brother won prize dontcha know they said ' maybe we should have gone '. :rotfl2: I agree, BLT really is a nice resort and we have our fingers crossed that we can get our reservation there at 7 month window for our next trip.
