Are any Fastpass Attractions Independent?

I remember a while ago, the Lights Motor Action show Fastpass was not connected and you were able to get a Fastpass there even if you had one elsewhere. Is that still true and does it happen anywhere else?

I think there used to be a Star Tours blip where you could get a FP even though you had one elsewhere too.

Sometimes you get a random extra pass too - its happened to us, but it was for an attraction we weren't interested in riding!

I believe that the Lights, Motor, Action fastpass is still independent from the fastpasses for other attractions. You may hold a LMA FP while holding another FP. I believe this is the only attraction in WDW that has this situation. You may get a surprise FP when getting a FP for an attraction (ie: get a FP for TT and you get a surprise FP for MS).
