Are Annual Pass prices going up tomorrow?

When you look online at the current DVC pricing for the various AP's it says they must be purchased by March 31st - so I'm wondering if the AP's will see another increase after March 31st?! Wish I had some extra cash lying around to buy a couple more before they go up again...but...I don't.

That date is referring to the special ticket, not the AP's.

Perhaps we can offer some hard data....

We renewed our AP's online, under DVC pricing YESTERDAY (2-27-2016) to Platinum.

Per ticket price (Adult) was $676.00 (all taxes and misc included).

Renewed? That price doesn't match up to anything I have down. AFAIK a Platinum renewal should have been $584.69 including tax. And a new Platinum is $691.19 including tax.

Does the special ticket have the same tiers (ie Platinum, & Gold)??? I was specifically looking at the Gold AP because I wanted to see what the blockout dates were. That's where I saw that date. Pretty sure it was $584 with tax for Gold.

It's been discussed a few times and I even asked MS. The AP's do not have a purchase by date. Just website confusion that showed up on the pages when they added the 25th anniversary tickets. It also seems that going in different routes takes you to different web pages. When I access the DVC AP's direct thru the MDE it doesn't have that disclaimer. Go in thru the DVC website and it does.

You'll also note that it says it must be used within 14 days of the first use which is a ticket requirement, not an AP.

I'll take your word on it - I saw the blackout dates which were just a thing of curiosity for me at the moment. I DON'T understand why DVC can't just add a little price chart on our website rather than making us go somewhere else to another site for pricing info. on them. I'm all about one stop shopping. Another feature that is just too complicated for the ever-so-bright farmed out overseas Disney IT staff I suppose.

So the gold pass renewal is 466 plus tax and that is just as much as a 7 day park hopper now lol I was only going to renew one pass for the photo pass but now just going to renew all 3 why not right?????

We are going to renew too now. Unless gold APs (renewals) go up a lot, its still cheaper for us to just renew them even if we do just 1 8-10 day trip with them. We're a family of 4 and we always would buy photopass/memory maker until we got the APs with it.

Since those MYW tickets expire 14 days after first use, if you're going even twice within 12 months for a few days each time, you might as well purchase one of the annual passes and also get the discounts and memory maker and everything.

can anyone make an educated guess on when the next AP increase will occur? I know the rates last changed in October. I would like to purchase APs before the next increase but am not in a hurry since our next trip is scheduled for November.
