We would like to plan some character meals for our upcoming October trip, but I was wondering if they are all buffet style, and if some are not, how do I know which aren't.

Thanks!

They are either family style or buffet style. Family style has all food served to you in large bowls for the entire table. You can get as much as you want though

Liberty Tree Tavern is not a buffet and is served Family Style. Also, Princess Storybook Dining for dinner is not a buffet (we did the dinner, so I'm not sure about breakfast or lunch). Crystal Palace (we did lunch) and Chef Mickey (we did breakfast) were both buffets.

Thanks! How can I find out which are family style and which are buffet style?

I may have this wrong, someone will correct me.

Cindys, Storybook Princess (Norway) and Garden Grill are preplated (Garden Grill may be family style).

Ohana's breakfast is family style.

(Family style is they bring out a big skillet with the food - they'll refill it. Preplated is you get a plate, they will also bring out more. Their ability to bring out more in a timely manner with either of these options is variable - sometimes people have no complaints, other times they feel they would have gotten far more value out of being able to get more Mickey waffles themselves from the buffet line).

I was wondering about the pre-plated meals
DH and DS are big eaters so I was wondering if they would get enough to eat if we took DD to the princess dinner

LTT, CRT, and GG are brought to the table.

Norway breakfast was both buffet and table. There was a buffet with fruit and stuff, but the hot meal was brought to the table.

In the past, all you had to do was ask for more and they'd bring it out. If you're really concerned about it, just double check when you make your ADR.
