Are all pizzas created equally?

I have seen a picture of a personal pizza from Pizza Planet and it looked incredible! I'm wondering if anyone knows if all the food court pizzas across property are basically the same thing? For example, the french fries at all/most of the counters seem to be the same...is this true for the pizzas??

Thanks!

I wondered the same. I had a Pizzafari pizza from AK last week & it was REALLY good

My daughter had some pizza from CSR and it didn't look as good

IMO, the Pizza Planet pizza looks incredible and tastes absolutely awful :crazy2: It's a personal thing, there is something about the sauce that I can not stand.

I think most of the kids meal pizzas are the same, but the specialty places are different.

I recently got a slice of pizza from the take out window on the Boardwalk and I thought it was very good. A little pricey, but very good.

We always wanted to try Pizza Planet because it always smells soooo good....but everyone always says it's lousy :scared1: so, we definately won't be trying it!

Sorry...we think ALL Disney pizza is awful. We put it on the scale with Domino's--absolutely horrible. It is the one food we will not eat at any Disney establishment.

The best pizza at WDW is at Mara at AKL. We go there just to get the pizza. I have not found the same kind any where else. The pizza is I guess you can say thin and crispy. Oh so good.

We had pizza at the Mara and didn't like it at all, but noticed a previous poster really liked it. Just goes to show you there are many different tastes when it comes to pizza. We are trying Toy Story in October. Wish us luck!!

I like the pizza at the Boardwalk window. I think Pizzafari's is okay. I love the flatbread pizzas at SSR and Wolfgang Puck's. But pretty much everywhere else, the food courts at the mods and values in particular, to me its gross. I am not normally picky and find the food at WDW to be overall amazingly good. But for some reason the pizza at most places just makes me gag.

Pizza from Pizza Planet is very yummy! I try to go there every time I go to hollywood studios!

:cool1: :hippie: Me and DW agree we like the Junk Yard Meal Deal- Grilled Veggi Pizza, salad, drink and a cookie. This may be our day 1 stop for CS lunch.

I thought the pizza at Pizza Planet was pretty good. Much better than the kids pizza at the Pepper Market.

We've had pizza at different locations and they differ. We thought the pizza was pretty tasty at Pizza Planet. Not like we get at home, but good.

I think that the Pizza Planet pizza is pretty decent *and* as an added bonus, because they sell salads too, they have packets of ranch dressing in the condiment/napkin area. Cheese pizza dipped in ranch dressing is sooooo good.

That being said, the pizza itself tasted the same to me as the pizza I've had at Pizzafari in AK and at the Pinnochio restaurant in MK.

My dbf and I had the pizza at Pizza Planet last Jan. To be honest, there isn't that many great counter service places to eat in Hollywood Studios.

The pizza there was decent. It certainly tasted good enough to eat, and the fact that you get a salad as well on the dining plan was really really nice. The salad was almost enough to fill us up.

Plus, you get a mickey krispie treat as desert (and not those horrible chocolate cake things...)

I'm going to have to try the flatbreads at Artist Palatte and Captain Cooks.

The flatbreads at California Grill and Jiko are great. Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Mama Melrose have good pizzas.

IMO, the flatbreads are pretty good; the regular personal pizza is not. We ate at Pizza Planet on the last trip, and my DH thought it was ok. I thought it was terrible.

I must say we have eaten there before and I thought it was ok several years ago. I'm not sure if my taste has changed or if the pizza has.
