Are 5 Days too many?

I'm planning a solo trip the beginning of December and wondering if doing 5 days at USO/IOA will get me bored. I'm staying at Cabana Bay and would like some pool time (is it warm enough?). Because of vision issues, I can't stay out when it gets dark so CityWalk is not possible in the evenings. When I do Disney, my usual MO is early morning at the parks for a few hours, eat lunch then return to hotel to nap/swim/relax and then return to the park for a few more hours before sunset. I've thought about doing a couple days at WDW then head over to Universal but I'm afraid I'll be too rushed with only 3 days. Any thoughts?

depnds on you and your touring style..From what you have said you like to tour lesisurely..We are leisurely people and like to repear /re-ride and explore. We do a week stay and are never bored and never regret it..As for temps to swim, December can be hit or miss.I have been down when it is fine for swimming only to have the temps drop and we are in long pants and coats the next day..Pools are heated though

No, five days is absolutely not too much. That will give you time to take it slow. Even not taking it slow, you still won't be bored.

We usually spend 3-4 days in the parks but we go at it pretty hard. A more leisurely trip actually sounds very appealing!

Going in December, sunset is going to be about 5:00 so we're talking fairly short days in the park right there. With trips back to the resort I can see filling 5 days. I'm going solo in Early January and planning on 4 or 5 day at Universal. If you're plans aren't set in stone yet you could swap things around. Do Universal first then Disney. Then, if you decided 4 days at Universal was enough, you could add an extra Disney day to your vacation.

Thank you everyone for your advice! I've only did USO/IOA once before for one day right after they opened up WWoHP and that was a nightmare. Definitely looking froward to a slower pace of things. ;)

Absolutely depends on your style.

5 days at US/IOA would be too much for me. I'd spend about a day at each park and maybe a day at the hotel. But that's me. If you think you'll be ok with 5 I'm sure you will be.

Oh Lordy you'll have a great time........5 days will give you plenty of time to do the parks and have some chill time at the resort.

You won't be bored :thumbsup2

The first time we visited, we had seven days. This time, we have six full park days.

As far as I'm concerned, it's the perfect way to visit!
