Has anyone done this and what did you think? Really wanted to go to teh reguar show, we love horses and have a few, but our next visit is in December. So it's thwholiday show or nothing.

Alot of peeps donn't care for this show:confused3 We enjoyed it alot.I personaly think the people that donn't like it donn't enjoy horses.Thats what the show is based on.Not much of a storyline tho,and the food, well it has its moments.
you will deffinatly get different responses on this.If you love horses doit!!

Me+Dh did this when we went in 2003+we loved it.The horses were amazing. We got front row seats, the food was ok-not great but edible. When you run out of drink just ask for more+they refill it.We had a great night:thumbsup2 .x.

I thought this show was not entertaining at all. I do not believe that the have over 60 horses as advertised, it seems like only 10 or so were there. The storyline was very boring. The food was ok at best, the steak was fine, but the melted ice cream didn't make me very happy. I was annoyed that they made you take a photo before the show, and then later hunted you down to try and make you buy it. I do not think the show is worth the price they charge. All that we spoke of the performance for the rest of the vacation was when we made fun of it by saying the character's names in the announcer's voice. A better idea for our family would have been to spend that money on a nice dinner in Disney. I'm not sure of the ages of your party, but if all of you are ages 12 or up, I suggest passing on this show and maybe take the horseback at Fort Wilderness instead. :goodvibes

Thannks for all of your opinions. For us it really is about the horses, and Arabians are my favorite breed. We know what this is sort of like as we have been to Medieval Times, and teh horses and the dressage moves they did were the highlight for me, worth the price of admission.

Anyway, I was wondering, donaldduck 352 and snowy-girls, did you see the regular show or the holiday show?

I saw the Holiday Show last year with my family. As dinner shows go, it was fine. We had discounts, and for a non-Disney production it was fine. Would we do it again, probably not. My granddaughter who loves horses would have another opinion, as she loved it, she was 9 at the time. If you love horses, you will get more out of the show. Some of the horses are amazing. The story line was the Prince was out looking for a Christmas gift for the Princess, and the acts were her dreams. If I remember correctly.

We saw the regular show albeit back in Aug 2003-so may have changed since then.As i said we thought it was excellent. When you arrive they take a picture of you(and your party etc..)in front of a cut out of the horses etc..then you go into a waiting room where there's jugglers, people on stilts, acrobats, there is a bar to get drinks-which we did+it was really expensive but it was so hot in there we needed them. You then get seated+have your meal, drinks+the show etc.. Near the end they bring round your photo-which was a fairly decent size+a keyring-with the same photo inside. If you wished to purchase just let them know.We did'nt feel like we were pressured into buying,we did end up buying as it was our anniversary treat+we thought that it was a little expensive(can't remember now how much).x.
