My DD is crazy for horses so I was thinking of booking VIP tickets for the Arabian Nights Show. Any feedbcak re show or food would be appreciated. Has anyone purchased the VIP tickets? you get a back stage tour before the show and DD would be in heaven! How far from POFQ is the show? not getting a car this time should we take a cab or town car?

Cheers

Went a few years back, we thought the food was awful and we barely touched it, we couldn't get out quick enough. I can't really comment on the show as we weren't in long enough. Didn't enjoy the little bit we did see, they made too many mistakes. Thankfully our tickets were free, we would've been gutted if we had paid to see this!

I've never been but some friends of ours went during their last trip and said they thought it was the worst part of the holiday. They got their tickets free from Virgin but said they wouldn't have gone even if they were paid :confused3 Apparently the atmosphere was awful.

Hi SimonG,

we went back in 1997 as our DD was mad on horses (still is off to college in Sept on an Equine management course) We all enjoyed it for what it was, if your DD loves horses then she will enjoy it.

We are thinking of doing a show when we go. I like the look of Dolly Partons Dixie Stampede, and there are horses as part of their show. Also I have read that you can visit the stables prior to the show. Has anyone seen this one?

Ok not sure I fancy this now, anyone tell me about the Dolly Parton show?

We went in 2001. The food was awful. In fact when it first arrived it wasn't cooked. After approx 20 mins trying to attract someone's attention we got it changed. When it arrived it was COLD. We couldn't get anybody's attention to bring us drinks either. Because we were told we would have a full meal we didn't eat beforehand....we were starving when we came out.

All I remember of the show was stooges pretending to be members of the audience to do some of the "stunts". DW, who likes horses, thought the show was OK, nothing more.

As I said, never ever again. If you must go, Eat beforehand.
