We visited Aquatica on our trip and have to say it's a fantastic water park, we had the best time, the wave pool is fantastic.

If you have heard negative reports on here, go with an open mind - you'll love it. The children's area is easily the best I've seen anywhere.

The only downers were - having to pay for towels to hire and the lack of clear directions in the park.

But you have to pay for towels at all waterparks, unless you take your own.

Also agree the signage is not good plus when we were there they didn't have any maps to hand out!!

Claire ;)

planning on going too
where did you get your tickets

Glad you enjoyed it as Aquatica is the only water park we'll be doing this trip

You can try online at Seaworlds website I have used their E-tickets before at Seaworld itself and they were fine.

I am just debating next years tickets but I think we will give Aqautica a miss as will have a 15 month old with us and we have Disney Ultimate tickets so will probably just visit one of their parks if we want to do a water park.

I have to agree with you Kevin. We went in August and had a great time. We will definitely be returning when we visit next year. We bought our tickets through Attraction Tickets Direct who price matched one of the other sites (can't remember which one). We bought joint tickets with Sea World. Don't think we will be going back to Sea World, but will definitely do Aquatica again.

How much is it on the gate? Just want to do aqatica not seaworld as done it the last 3 times

We wasn't sure about whether to go or not on our trip next year, but will be going with an open mind as it looks really good!

my family loved Aquatica too. It helped that we had a cabana as the day we were there (2nd June) it was sooo hot, we definately had our money's worth though, arriving at 8.30 & not leaving until 8.45pm! :thumbsup2

what comes with the cabana (besides shade)?

I know you get a fridge with an assortment of soft drinks/water, table and chairs, ceiling fan (I think).
Complimentary use of towels and lockers

Some pictures of what they look like on this thread.

thanks for the link...
we usually only go into TL and BB for 2 hours at most, but we have APs, so we don't mind just popping in....

if we go to aquatica i imagine we'll plan on spending more of a full day there (given that we'll have to actually buy tickets)...

in that case, a cabana definitely makes sense...

the aquatica cabanas seem pretty nice....

If you prebook on the Aquatica website (not sure on addy) then you get in to the park an hour early (don't do will call print them out).
