Great pictures Dixie. Just a few questions: what kind of camera do you use? I dont see any flash glare, did you use a flash?

I'm using a Nikon D70s, with these I've got a Nikkor 50mm / f1.8 lens attached. No flash, as it's really unnecessary and throws ugly light around. Trying to use flash through glass & water is really a useless effort, especially if the subject is 10 feet away or more.

For the most part, I'm opening the lens up to about f/2.8 or thereabouts, using the lowest ISO setting (on my camera, that's ISO200), and aiming for the fastest possible shutterspeed to freeze the action (about 1/800 - 1/1600).

Shot all of them in RAW camera mode on high-saturation, then I adjusted the color temperature (aka white balance) and levels at home with Nikon's RAW editor software (for the color temp) & Photoshop (for the levels).

=)
