Aquatica Cabana

Booked a premium "Lowes" cabana for our last day in Orlando. Hoping to relax after doing Disney commando style. Can't wait to pretend I am at the Caribbean. Do you have to go in the wave pools to get to these, they say they are on an island between the 2 wave pools? Pictures would be great as Seaworlds website is not that good. Thanks!!!!!!

No, you don't have to get wet to get to them. From what I could see, they were in between the wave pools on a concrete path that overlooked the wave pools.

We used one in April. You don't walk through the water. There are only 3 cabanas on the "island" - 2 premiums and the ultra. It was great but I didn't do photos for some reason. It was only us and a family of 3 the day we were there. Very private and peaceful with plenty of shade and sunny places. They offer food delivery there, which was nice too. FYI, all food and (non-alcoholic?) beverages are included in the price of the ultra. If you have enough people, it could definitely be worth it.

Get there early, do all the slides before it gets crowded and then enjoy the peace and quiet of your cabana.

When we went in 2008, we rented one of those cabanas right next to the wave pools. There were more than 3 there, at that time, and we didn't get too many pictures, but here's a few shots of my family inside.

The Aquatica day is down the page a bit. . . . . and you can read about our experience there. We are in the middle of planning a return trip for the spring, 2011 and Aquatica is on the agenda for at least 2 visits. We will rent a cabana both days because we can't imagine it without. We think they totally make the difference between a fun day and something totally beyond excellent.
