anyone get this crappy water, I do when dasnin is sold out, more then once (7-8) times) I got a case, it was defective and the bottle dont stand up

I try to not get either brand. They are both filtered tap water, I can get that at home. If I am going to get bottled water (which I rarely do) it is going to be Crystal Geyser.

that should be imprtant to me, but it could be filtered or spring, I just want a bottle that has a big cap, and of cours edont want to spend to much

:lmao:I've had some where the bottles don't stand up. I think it has more to do with the cheap plastic they use. And they overfill the bottles so they bloat up.

that gets me, they write on the bottle, they now using so much less plastic to have a cleaner earth, they dont care about anything but profits, so they find away to give you a cheap bottle and claim they are good people

Poland Springs or Nestle water is it for me. Fiji if it was a good week in my pocket. Dasani bottles are free for me at work and I won't drink it. Just not a fan of coke products

I dislike both Aquafina and Dasani. They add stuff to that water and I find the taste to be weird. I actually don't like to taste my water. It becomes an issue when I visit Disney and just want to buy a bottle of water--I hate Dasani.

If I drink bottled water, I end up just getting Nestle's Purelife (which is just filtered tap water), but it's smooth.

But, I get that you like the bottle shape. Those cheaper bottled waters aren't the greatest for the bottle aspect of it.

:fish:Swimming against the tide with my water opinion, but I LOVE the taste of reverse-osmosis processed water (like Dasani and Aquafina). RO systems are popular here for home water treatment because they don't require any salts and my parents had one for years. Their water made the best tea and coffee ever.

The water I purchase is either Perrier or San Pellegrino. I love mineral/sparkling water. I cross my fingers that it’s safe.
Not sure how it couldn't be, but I suppose if we apply the general principle of "anything that's good must be bad for you". :rotfl2: I've never liked sweet beverages so flavored, carbonated water has become a real treat for me. I keep a case under my desk at work and one in my car. I probably drink 6 cans a day and if anybody ever told me I'd be spending $15/week on canned water, I would have called them crazy.

Those other waters don't have that good ole fashioned arsenic flavor of Crystal Geyser.
https://www.fooddive.com/news/arsenic-found-in-11-bottled-water-brands-consumer-reports-says/553071/
The report only notes one source at Olancha. They filter the water to reduce arsenic, but that comes with its own issues - namely transporting the resulting hazardous waste.

https://www.justice.gov/usao-cdca/p...harged-illegally-transporting-hazardous-waste
The water report says it’s non detectable to 0.0034 mg/L in the final product.

I usually see the source in Weed, near Mt Shasta.

That’s a win win there. The first I remember of that was Nestle with Arrowhead and the brand that became PureLife. Then others started reducing plastic.

I’ll just use a reusable bottle and use my own filtered water.

I'm enough of a cretin that I actually still drink it old-school; regular tap water, out of a regular glass, whenever I get the chance. ;)

Tap water for us too, I have a glass of it right beside me! I keep a Tervis cup on my desk at work and fill it from the water fountain, and if I need to take water with me, I use a Hydro flask.

I did buy bottled water for DS' graduation party, it was store brand. Nobody seemed to mind.

I buy 24 oz/24 bottle cases at Costco, usually about $4 or so. 'Sport' top, so no lost caps, good taste, good bottle (does not collapse or squeeze in when picked up)

I use my bottle on the road where I'm not exactly going to be a good position to use a glass/cup. Lots of airports these days have water filling stations in addition to fountains.

I've visited China where airports usually have hot water and hot water that's been cooled. They're still paranoid about microbes.

We drink RO water at home. Aquafina tastes nothing like it.
