How long does your ride last and at a 1 to 10 rate scale what would you rate it?:goodvibes

It lasts maybe 2-3 minutes. Rating depends a lot on who you are. If you are a teen who loves Rockin Roller Coaster, this is tame by comparison. If you are a 50 something "old lady" who seriously doesn't like rides, this was perfect.

And the best hint came from the CM at the bottom--don't try to stand up in the raft to get out. Roll out of the raft, then stand up.

Not sure of the time - a couple minutes at most.

I LOVED IT!!! For me it was a '10'! And I am a total chicken and afraid of heights!

You can watch YouTube videos of the ride. I believe it is 1 minute and 4 seconds on the video (I just watched it a few days ago :))

Add on question for my little one (who just makes cut off to go with me) - is there much water splashing in your face as you go along?

Too quick of a ride, but lots of fun. I don't recall a lot of water splashing in my face. And we definitely did the "roll and stand" when getting out. :thumbsup2

I rode the AquaDuck twice in June on the Fantasy. Once with my DD and once with my DH. When DD and I rode together we both got splashed a lot in the face in one particular section (going into the dark tunnel). In fact she lost a contact. We are both kinda small so our raft moved around a lot in the water. That said it was a lot of fun and I'm not a roller coaster lover.

When DH and I rode together it was a little less splashing (in the same spot). I still got some in the face but not as wet with DD. I rode in the front both times.

I can't wait to do it again in March despite the water in the face.

Not sure how long it last - probably a couple minutes. When you ride alone and go down the first "up and down" hill, you can feel the water pushing at your back. I didn't feel it the first time, because I rode in the front with somebody else. Also the first ride, I didn't take the time to look around and see everything while I was riding. It's not a roller coaster, but it is pretty cool - I give it a 9.

Well it sounds like my 7 year old will love it and I will love riding with him and hearing/seeing his reactions.

Thanks everyone. pixiedust:

Not long enough! Actually it was just perfect. I LOVED it. I rode it many more times than my teenage girls. Just the right amount of movement and slightly exciting ups and downs, and lots of cruising along in the water.

Does everyone agree about rolling out of it at the end, or can you sit up, put feet out over the edge and stand up?

My daughter wants to go on the Aquaduck during our cruise. She wants me to go with her. I am a total baby and afraid of heights. How high does the ride go?

My ride was much longer because the cm did not tell me the secret of the roll and stand. It was not pretty :rotfl2:

The ride is from the forward funnel to the aft funnel and back forward, so it starts high and stays high. Having a BIG fear of heights myself, I took one look at it when we arrived at the port and said "No way!". I was talked into it by day 4 to agree to ride by day 6. As scared as I was, the height didn't bother me because I couldn't see how high we were and going too fast to notice!
From a fellow 'fear of heights' person, yes it will scare you off as you look at it from below, but once you are riding you won't notice how high up you are.
Give it a try. I did and loved it and would do it again!

Have a great cruise!
