AP's (with DVC discount)

I'm in panic mode.
Going to WDW on 12/5. I just assumed I could purchase my AP with DVC discount at Guest Services at one of the parks----but a friend told me she wasn't so sure.
I tried to call MS today (20 min on-hold wait......) and tried the search function (but not working at the moment).

So can anyone confirm or deny that I can or cannot buy my DVC AP in the parks ? I'd have to pay "rush" delivery if I bought them online and I'm trying to avoid that.

You should not have a problem.....We purchased ours at Member Services in DTD last December (Family of four over 10 yrs old). All we needed was an ID for each Adult member and DVC Member Card for discount. Once purchased we were in the parks in about 20 mins.

I'm going in jan. If I wait to get my DVC AP when I get there, will I still be able to purchase the DDE card?

As of Nov 11th, you can purchase the DDE card at Guest Relations at Epcot, MK, AK, MGM and DTD. They will be printed on paper (similar to APs) rather than the embossed plastic cards you get in the mail. So you should be able to purchase your AP and DDE at the same time!

Hi Maria,

I called MS last week to ask the same question. You can purchase the AP at Guest Relations at Downtown Disney on your day of arrival, show you DVC membership card and receive the DVC discount. No need to purchase tickets a head of time.

Have a great time. Arriving on 12/6, can't wait!
