APs, Magic Bands, & prebooking FP

Hi all! I have a question for a friend of mine. She and her family are Florida residents and have APs. They have not stayed onsite and have no plans to. I saw something where Disney is rolling out MBs and the ability to prebook FP prior to park entry for AP holders without staying onsite. Is that true? Who does she need to call to set that up? She called today and was told that "the testing phase is over". Not exactly the most helpful answer she could have gotten!


Any guidance? Any info?

2- Nobody to call. Disney will be making the choices of testers.
3- Another phone CM "making up an answer."
4- Nobody knows how Disney is selecting the FP holders for the limited testing.

So is the only thing she can do is wait and see if she is chosen? (I know she could book a room, but that's not an option right now.) She said she created an account on MDE and linked her tickets to the account but nothing yet. I saw a little news blip that they were going to start AP testing this week but I haven't heard any more.

I told her to keep calling as I suspected that the CM she got didn't have any real info.
