APs, FP+ and Memory Maker Questions

I booked a trip yesterday to stay on site but had a change of heart and will be canceling that resort and booking off site today. It is my understanding that even staying off site, the day we are in the park we can have 3 FP+ selections? We are only planning on staying at the the park from rope drop until after lunch. Is there a good chance that we will be able to get 3 FP+ selections during the time frame?

We have 1 day park hopper tickets that were never used that we were going to upgrade to APs. Our first park day will be Saturday so Friday when we arrive we were going to head to Downtown Disney to take care of that. Where exactly is Guest Relations? Can we use Disney gift cards towards the cost of the AP?

We have always done the pre-order of the Photopass CD in the past. Will I be able to "pre order" the Memory Maker if I am staying off site?

It will be just my DH & I and our toddler. Since we will be rider swapping things like BTMRR & Space Mountain, does that mean we only need 1 fast past?

I apologize in advance for these questions. We have been to Disney 5 times and we have always done a package and stayed on-site and used Magical Express, Disney transportation, and had the dining plan. This will also be our first trip since MDE is in full swing so this is all uncharted territory for us!

Guests who are staying off site can book FP+ when they arrive at the park.

Guest Services is by Team Mickey, although I thought I read that TM was closing.

Being able to pre-order Memory Maker has nothing to do with staying onsite.

You only need to hold a FP+ for the initial rider when you're doing rider swap. Don't forget about rides that have single rider lines (Everest, TT and RnRC), you don't need to use FP+ for those at all. Thanks to TT's single rider line you can use one tier 1 FP+ for Soarin and the other can be used for one parent to take your toddler to the character spot while the other is riding Soarin or TT. Works out nicely in MK too, you can FP the mountains without losing out on too many toddler friendly rides.

Guest relations is located dtd between Crystal stor and Team mickey store in marketplace or outside of Disney Quest on West side.

I don't know on Fp /baby swap, depending on time of year you have pretty fair chance of early fp+ times.

I have used Disney gift cards towards AP twice and Dh did also.
