APs, do I need to be there for activation?

I thought our first night I could send hubby out to activate our vouchers while I stay at the hotel and let the kids swim.

Will this work or do we have to be there in person?

I can only tell you my story.

This past December was the first time we owned and activated APs.

It was our first day and we went to MK. My DH couldn't come with us. He was going to meet us later on.

When I got to MK, I started to panic because I realized I had my DH AP and we hadn't activated them yet. I thought for sure they wouldn't let me activate my DHs.

Well, I went to Guest Relations and the CM told me "no problem" and he activated mine, my DH's and my 2 DD's with only my giving him the info to activate them.

Everytime we have activated ours, we had to show a photo ID for verification. They matched our face with our ID.
