AP's can Canadians get them??

Hi Everyone!!

I wanted to buy an AP but if you go on the Disney website you can't buy them if you reside in Canada. Does anyone know if I can order them by calling WDW or if I'll have to be at the park to buy them??

Annual passes are only available from Disney. Either online, over the phone, or in person.

You can buy them online as a Canadian- just choose United States as your country of residence- then pick them up at will call when you arrive.

That what I did last year, with no problems.

I got one in 2000 so that I could get a discount on my room. I had booked the hotel and air through a travel agent and ordered the passes - an AP for me and the 7day park hopper for the rest of my family.

We've bought annual passes at TDS (they have to order them in advance), and we've purchased them right at Guest Relations at the parks. They are great to have, especially if you are planning to stay a certain length of time, or going back within a year.

I called an ordered mine by phone, had them delivered to my home. They showed up in less than a week, no problems.

You get a voucher that you exchange at Guest relations.

Is it correct that if I were to buy the APs today but not activate it till January, that my year starts in January???

That's right, Tracey.

AP's are valid for one year from the date of activation, not date of purchase.

So you can buy ahead of time, use the Ap discounts for your rooms (you may need to show the actual pass at check-in, sometimes just the voucher is enough), then activate your Ap once you're at WDW.
