APs are coming

I'm guessing friday as they seem to have a pattern. Thing is, it's usually bad news on fridays at the end of the day.

I wrote Terri Schultz the other day. Same response - she doesn’t know when AP sales will start again. She did point out what we already knew - they should be on sale before Oct. 1. I just don’t know why they need to go down to the wire. A lot of people are planning to be at WDW for the 50th. We don’t start planning for those trips October 1st.
Can you share how you were able to contact her?

You need to look at staffing. Has to be a day ticketing can be at FULL staff.
Nothing else is going on, thats why today could not have happen because of Disneyland 'keys' start.
When do the Christmas tickets for everyone / anyone go on sale ?
I still predict Sept. 7.. Tuesday after labor day but who knows.

For sales, yes. But we were all hoping the announcement of when sales would start today!

The announcement last week said they would provide more details by the end of the month so there were predictions on which day would be the day for more information, not sales. I just want to know how much and when!!!

I hope you're right about sales. The sooner, the better. I've been waiting for almost a year for these things to go on sale!

I have been waiting, too - for many reasons, including the possibility of canceling our trip if the pandemic continues to worsen. We’re heading to WDW 12/30 - 1/7 and again next summer. I think I’ll just buy park hoppers for the first trip with the hope of upgrading to APs before the end of our first trip. I really need to make park reservations, even though we’ll probably skip the parks on NYE. I usually buy my tickets from an authorized reseller to save some money, but I am a little nervous because Disney keeps changing everything on us. I really want to be able to upgrade to APs if they return.

My 5 trips since August 2020 would have been thousands less had I bought an annual pass. I’m lurking on social media each day hoping and praying they will drop.

Add us to the waiting group we've got a few trips we want to take but only 1 booked so far. Waiting on AP's before we book the rest.

We are the opposite. Disney would have thousands of my dollars since last summer that they did not get without APs being available.

For most of the past year the theme parks have been operating under reduced capacity, and often maxed out daily attendance. For that reason it made sense to focus on selling as many MYW tickets as possible. Simply put, they didn't have anywhere to put you (or others), thus didn't really miss out on revenue.

Now that capacity is higher--and at present, crowds seem to be dwindling--Disney has a better reason to get serious about Annual Passes. Tick-tock...

Everybody wants them, but we'll see if that is still true when they announce the pricing...

If the AP price is still less than a 7 day hopper + another 7 day hopper + “maybe another hopper,” we’re in….

I'm looking at the AP price vs. an 8 day park hopper. That is our trip next May. If it is less than or around that amount we'll take the plunge again.
