OK, couldn't find this in the search function. We've got newly renewed DVC regular annual passes that have already been activated, linked to MDE, and used successfully last month. DH and I also both have 10 day Magic Your Way hoppers with water park fun etc. no expiration that each have 8 days left on them that I just linked to MDE. So here's the question...I want to keep the 10 day hopper "active" because we want to visit Typhoon Lagoon/Disney Quest on our trip in May and we only have regular (not premium) APs this year. Does the ticket reading system automatically draw first from an existing AP if two types of active ticket media are there? I don't want to accidentally get charged a day from my 10 day hopper instead of the AP for a park. I was thinking of just bringing the hopper ticket along and using that to get into Typhoon Lagoon and Disney Quest and not even using the Magic Band for entry just to be sure. It does make me curious however, especially since I just added to our Disney park hedge fund two more 10 day no expire hoppers with water park and all that from Undercover Tourist while they still had some left. I'd like to link those to MDE as a safeguard against losing those tiny, expensive pieces of cardstock. Those I would make inactive, though, at least until we stop getting APs and use up the older Magic Your Way tickets.

I was wondering if anyone knew if I have both an AP and a 10 day MYW no expire hopper "active" in MyDisneyExperience that the system would "know" to take the Disney Quest and Typhoon Lagoon visits off the Magic Your Way ticket but NOT hit it for regular park entry to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, etc.

Thank you in advance for sharing your own experience with this!

It doesn't appear that there's any priority system in place. Your best bet is to go to guest servies and ask that they prioritize the tickets linked to your accounts (draw from AP, not NE) or bring along the hard tickets to use in place of the MB altogether.

If you set up a second MDE account and link the new no-expiry tickets there, they won't be lost and they won't be used until you need them. Just use that MDE account when booking rooms etc. in the future.

It would be easiest to use the actual ticket when you go to the water parks and DQ. That way you skip waiting in line at Guest Relations to prioritize every time you need a ticket access change.
