I did read the VERY helpful FP+ thread by Mesaboy but I'm still a little confused. And I did ask on that thread but did not receive a reply. My question is are there any drawbacks when it comes to FP+ and APs? We are not residents. DH and I are thinking of buying APs since we will be there for 5 days in Feb. (adults only), then back again for 2 weeks in June with the kids, and again possibly in Sept (adults). My question regards the June trip with kids. They would not have APs but regular PHs. We would stay onsite 4 nights, then move into a rental home for the remainder. We did this last year with reg. tickets and booked 60 days in advance then had the rolling when we moved offsite. How will it work when booking onsite then immediately offsite FPs with APs?

TIA!!:flower:

It should work the same except I believe you no longer get a rolling 60 (not 100% sure). With APs you can only hold fast passes for 7 days in a 30 day period. I am not sure if that changes if you are onsite though.

Thanks. :)
A couple of questions, on the FP+ thread it says staying onsite you get FP for 7 days or however long your stay is, whichever is greater. So that could be holding Fps for more than 7 days in a 30 day period. Right? Maybe things have changed with the new APs?

Also, if the kids and DH and I are on MDE together wouldn't we all just assume the 60 day rolling for FP once we move offsite?

Anyone know about this stuff? :confused3 I want to make the right decision on buying the APs!! Thanks!:D
