This is when things start to get interesting...

Two points on offer tonight - one easy-ish question, and then a real stumper for the bonus point. If anyone gets the second one, they have my admiration as they truly are a font of Disney knowledge! Even I didn't know it and had to look it up - the joy of being a quizmaster!

As you enter Frontierland from the central hub, you pass through an Old West fort. What is the name of this fort?

And here's the tough one - who or what was the fort named after?

Still got a few hours to go on this question, but I've come up with an interesting dilemma.

Turns out there are two possible answers to the bonus question. One is definitely correct - i.e. it's the answer you'd get if you asked Disney themselves who or what the fort was named after. The other is not so clear cut - many people BELIEVE it is named after this, but there's a fair chance it could also be just a strange coincidence.

To be fair to everyone, I'll give you a point as long as you get one of these two answers.

Let's get the easy bit out of the way first - the answer to the first part of the question was Fort Comstock which everyone got right.

As I mentioned previously, there's two schools of though with regard to the second question. The 'official' correct answer is that it was named after a silver mine in Virgina City, Nevada and seven people gave me that answer. However, as nine of you correctly pointed out, the man who did much of the landscaping work in Frontierland was called Paul Comstock and there's a fair chance that it was also named after him. And after all, I did put "who or what" in the question...

So either answer will have got you a point. Of course, if you gave me both answers (maybe because you knew, maybe to hedge your bets) then I'm going to be EXTRA generous and give you two bonus points!
