I've gone at Easter three times & the crowds are heavy.
In 2002 our second week was after Easter weekend, a time when the crowds are supposed to deminish. What we found in WDW was the first 2 days after the weekend were great but then Wed & Thurs were full of school groups. The ride loaders would let all 30 of a party board so waits were considerable.
Friday & following weekend were also busy due to Floridians taking a break.
This was a time when Early Entry had stopped so even with FP it was all a hassle.
All these comments are biased because the week before (Easter week) we stayed on site at Universal. Wow! FOTL gave us 5 min waits for Hulk & Spiderman at noon, when the regular line was 1.5hours!!
We vowed that on our next visit to only do Universal.
My advice is if you stay on resort at WDW, use the early entry perk & exit that park at around 11am.
It worked for us in 1998 & 2000.
Easter has great weather & I loved being at the MK turnstiles at 7.30am on an EE day...sunny, fresh, warming up & no crowds.
I'm therefore worried about how our next trip will go which is last wk July, 1st wk Aug....only 4.5 months to go!!
