If I have an April use year and I book my 2008 points, when do I have to use them by?

With an April use year, your 2008 points are good for stays between 4/1/2008 and 3/31/2009.

If you bank the 2008 points, they become good for stays between 4/1/2009 and 3/31/2010. In other words, the banked points (originally from your 2008 use year) will expire on 3/31/2010,

And once you bank them, you can't move them back to the current year.
