I believe most of Maine has the 3rd week of April for vacation also.

Last year NH tossed there normal schedule to the wind and the 3rd week. Back to normal this year for the last week in April for us!

Now that my kids are in high school we have to stick to the vacation schedule... We loved visiting Disney the 1st week of May.

Add RI into the mix this year too! Usually RI has the week before Mass off but this year we will be able to fly down with our friends from MA.

were going from the 15th to the 30th...and im a bit scared! but ive been there over easter and seen it nuts- like 2 hr wait in lines for rides. were also celebrating ds's third bday on the 23rd- go figure! i didnt even know about grad nites at booking and am thankful to my dis peeps for filling me in on these!

i was saying to hubby well maybe we can catch F! after our chef mickey dinner...um i dont think thats even a possibility...with no wishes, F! and illuminations will be swamped. darn.

Our CT schools always have the 3rd. full week of April off. As a teacher I have gone at this time and found it quite crowded. Also the airlines raise their prices for this busy time period. Now I am retired and go in September . . . what a difference!

I have to agree with the airline prices! We are flying Delta and the price of the same ticket we purchased is now over 1500.00 each!! YIKES!! I probably wouldnt be going if I had to pay that. However, I started planning this trip last May and booked our flights out of BDL non stop for 220.21 round trip each back then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well looks like we'll be in good company! See all of my Mass/RI/CT friends at BDL!!!!!! I booked the first day Southwest opened the schedule, and while it was higher than going the 1st week of May, it wasn't as bad as I thought.

oh also I graduated in 89'.....tooooo funny is right

We are going the 17-24. Yayayay!! We just happen to have that week off this year, but it's not common for GA schools to be out that late. I hope it's not too crowded. Calendars are predicting 7s most of the week.

For that day I would go either to MK or DS, and avoid Epcot.

thanks Vettechick99! We are planning on going into MK to slowly soak up the atmosphere!!!! DO a few rides and have dinner at the Plaza TTA was closed last May and we missed it terribly See you all down there

Just to let you know, the All Star Cheer-leading and Dance Worlds competition is also during your visit, April 23-26. Teams arrive on the 23rd. The competition will be at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (24th). They have events scheduled in Epcot (25th) and Hollywood Studios (26th).

I'm in MA too but we are heading down a little early. We'll be there 4/13-4/20. In the past we've always done the 1st week in May as well so I am a little nervous about the crowds, etc. All I'm praying for really though is nice weather. Can't wait to put on a swimsuit and go swimming

We've gone pres week many times and the crowds are usually 8s then. The time you've got 7s, 6s, 5s, and 4s! You should be fine. We are going 4/13-21 and 7s are predicted most of the time.

If you haven't already, buy the Touring plan for $8.95 and follow the suggested recommendations for the parks, which to avoid, which to go to and even which rides to do when.

Don't despair! The weather will be so nice and you're at Disney!

But anyway, we go mid spring break because that's when the plane tickets are the cheapest and it gives us a few days the following week when the crowds are even less.

You've got LOTs of 4s and 5s during your trip. Only problem is you do have the cheerleaders on the weekend of the 23rd.
