April or June?

Looking for insight from the experts- which would likely be more crowded? First week of April or first week of June? Or about the same?

Imho first week of June because Grad Nites are back + schools start letting out at Memorial so that’s when Disneyland kicks it into summer gear.

We've had good fortune with the first week of June -- LA Unified is still in session* up until Friday, June 10, San Diego Unified until June 14. Those are your two biggest school districts in So-Cal, so kids aren't flooding the parks juuust yet.

Other things to consider are possibly better staffing levels in June, return of entertainment (MSEP, WOC, etc...), etc...

Also gotta love that lovely cloudy June gloom!

*COVID-19 exceptions apply, as of today, I have no idea what is going to happen with the rest of the school year.

First week of April also includes spring break for districts and Food and Wine is still going on during that time.

I would avoid April, spring break is way worse than summer crowds.

DL is reservation-only now, so all past experience with crowds is moot.

I would go with June, since April has spring break.

June does have Grad nites, which does effect crowds. : June 1,3,4,7,8,10,11,17

I haven't been during grad nites, but it seems like it will be less crowded than spring break. Maybe someone who has attended can clarify that.

As a local that has had annual passes my whole life..... anytime after the first week of March to Labor Day is busy! But it's doable. Easter is April 17th. Most schools out here will have the week before or the week after Easter off. June you have a TON of school groups even during the day for end of year field trips and they will close early for Grad night. That being said I personally would say April. Better weather as well. June will be hot. Can't always guarantee June gloom.

We took my Granddaughter the week of Christmas and it was BUSY but doable. We did everything we wanted.
