Ok help me make this decision. We have vouchers for free airfare so that is all set. We are debating weather to go in April (we have AP's but the rooms will be high) or wait until July and get a good rate on Hotels but have to renew AP's.......April crowds. July.....hot. AP's vs. Hotels....anyone. HELP. I keep going back and forth. DD and I are both teachers so vacation time is limited to school breaks or summer. I keep saying Disney Cruise in August....but it is very $$$$$

big vote for April - we love going during this time of year - generally little rain :umbrella: , hot but not HOT :sunny: , flower and garden fest :flower: and I think still probably fewer crowds than July. Ah, heck, this is making me want to go again in April and I leave in two weeks! :rotfl2:

It is SOOOOOOOO Hot in July. I am from Houston and have lived in New York, and I can tell you that the heat down here in July is not like the heat in New York in July. If you are not used to it, it can be miserable. I am totally used to it, and I still find it miserable.

Last year we went down in July but we were able to spend 2 weeks so we took everything slow and took lots of breaks back at the POR. This year when we go it will not be for so long $$$. I am thinking APRIL has won out over July. Now I have to start looking for good prices...AP or AAA or a package of some kind. I am sure there will be no postcards or codes for April. Thanks again for everyone's input.
