I was full of hope based on the early release of rates 2 years ago, but last year the AP rates for our time period didn't come out until mid-April! Yikes! My heart (and my wallet) can't take much more of this waiting...

The previous set of codes were released early. I guess I was hoping for the same for this round of codes. Let's stay positive!

Disney online booking is down for maintenance again. Could this be a sign of codes to come ???

Everyone....

Take a deep breath.....lol

The rates for the peak season were released early.

The rates for 2/12 to 4/17 were released on 1/2.

That's about 41 days between when the code was released on 1/2 and when the code could first be used on 2/12.

If Disney were to release the codes for 4/18 thru 7/3 (just guessing on the days) at exactly the same time as the previous codes were released (41 days), that would put the codes coming out around March 8th.

Looking back....the rates for this approximate time in prior years (regular season) were released as follows:

2003 - 04/21 = AP rates released
2002 - 01/24 = AP rates released
2001 - Late March 2001

I don't know what this post accomplished....lol....but, it's still very early right now based on when the codes were released for 2/12 to 4/17 this year. No one start panicking yet.....lol

With that said.....C'MON CODES!!!!!

HI ALL!
Based on the past 16 pages of this thread and information on them this thread may go over 100 pages before the codes come out.
Is it possible for the origintor or moderator of this thread set a cutoff point of this thread and start an followup thread untill the codes come out.
Reason being that on the transpportation threads others were waiting for the SWA discount codes and rates release times and the thread got huge and some almost lost out on the discount fares.
Reason I am concerned is that the 20% northeast skiing group are not skiing this season based onthe reports by the north east ski areas therefore the skiers are heading south with the europeans who's eoro is worth more.

I think the thread keeps going as some people are given information as to when rates may be released by CMs, and its comforting to know others are waiting for the codes and it also saves everyone ringing for the codes on a daily basis as one of us will post when we have called first thing. A new post or several new posts are usually made seperate when the rates are out anyway so there is not much chance of missing the codes/rates or them being lost in the thread.

Alas this is also possibly the last time I get to anticipate arrival of AP rates as from August I will be able to use my DVC points on stays.

yes, but to save points we are staying at another hotel on fri and sat., then moving to dvc on sun-thurs.

so we still want ap rates! LOL
