Hello lovely people :)

Are any of you planning trips for April / May 2008? I am getting very impatient and would love to find someone to talk to who may be there the same time as us.

If not, is there anyone who wants to share impatient thoughts? It's far too cold in England at the moment and my only salvation is dreaming of Florida.

Plus I start a new job very soon and I am getting very nervous!! HELP! I am beginning to do this with nerves!! :tigger:

We are planning on going 3rd May 2008.
Already in planning mode as we are making my mum on her first trip so we are trying to fit in every thing a newbie would what to see.

How's your planning going?

Planning for July 2008 but getting a fix this year by helping one of my work colleagues plan for her first trip this year.

Her family's the same as mine (2 Ads, 2 DDs) so it's good fun.

Hi. Yes we will be going in April 2008. We've been going in April for the past 3 years and love the time of year, just after Easter, weather is wonderful and the parks are nice and quite.

Got most of this years trip planned, flying out 21st April and heading to Key West for a few days, followed by an overnight stay in Naples and then 11 nights in a privte villa back in Orlando.

Happy planning!

Hello,

Our planning? Well I think I may have gone overboard cos I think I've already sorted the hotel, am researching plane prices and we already know what we want to do for most days. I have even provisionally booked a place in Sanibel for a week to recover from Disney hectic!

How's your s going? What do you have planned for your mum? :)

Hello,

We always go at this time of year too. We love it being quiet plus it';s my birthday on 22nd so I try to be able to celebrate at MK if at all possible!

Where is your villa? We stayed in one last year and it was lovely but a bit too out of the way for everything. We have decided to be in the thick of it next time on 192 near Old Town.

We've never been to the Keys - have you before or is this your first time?

Thanks for the good luck with the job :) am a bit nervous! Please feel free to PM me if you want to chat about things - I would love someone to share things with! Hubby thinks Im a bit mad until he gets there then realises that it was all in a good cause!!

Hi

Hey wouldn't that be a fabulous job - planning someones trip for them who hasn't been before! Bit like a wedding planner :thumbsup2

Are you all planned for your own trip yet?

Well you're all gonna hate me now coz I'm going to WDW this September  ) but I just came to offer a little support, as I am also starting a new job on 5th March!
What's your start date?
I've been offered the new job and have resigned from my current job so I can do the 4 weeks notice necessary, but my new employer is waiting for my references for the last 5 years(!) to come back before they can finalise everything.
So I'm absolutely terrified that something goes wrong and I end up jobless! :scared: And that's before I can even worry about what it's going to be like starting the new job! Hopefully things are a bit more certain in your camp!

Incidentally everyone else, I booked this holiday with 4hundredandsummat days to go, and we're down to 226 already :goodvibes It'll come around sooner than you think!

Blimey you're braver than me!! 5 years references?? You must be going for a much better job than me - my new people got about the last year :rotfl2: What is it you do?

Things are perfect in my new job - I went to see them yesterday and it seems to be even better than I imagined. It seems like things are finally going to start going right for me:yay:

Where are you staying for your hol - tell me all!

At the moment I'm in admin, and I'm (hopefully!) going to be a Trainee Mortgage Underwriter.
I'm glad you have things sorted, what job are you going into?

Well we go on Sept 29th, for 14 nights, flying with Virgin from Manchester.
We're staying at Pop for the first time, and on the 3rd and 4th October we are staying at the Boardwalk Villas (rented from a fellow DISer!)
Am trying to get my ADR's soted now, they're to be booked on 2nd April. A couple I think we'll defo do are:
Le Cellier
Rose & Crown
Coral Reef
Sci-Fi Dine In
Concourse Steakhouse

the rest we're still deciding on.
Oh and Yacht Club Galley for breakfast after one of our BWV nights!

Tell me more about the villa - who's is it :) I haven't eaten at any of those places yet - are they good? I've heard about a few of them. We're looking to do loads of new stuff this time round.

I've just got the most fabulous job - working on St Michael's Mount in Cornwall - do you know it? :yay:

I don't know it, no?

We have rented DVC points from a lovely chap called Bill who lives in Kentucky, we've never done this before, so I'm hoping all goes smoothly, the process is complete so far, just have to wait until check-in now!

We've eaten at Rose and Crown and Sci-Fi before, they were yummy, but this time we were fortunate enought to book when the free dining plan was on, so we're trying lots of new places!
