Just called -- WL may12-19. Original ressie for standard rm w/ aaa was 249.76 (with tax). No ap discount for standard rm only courtyard at $233.10 (with tax). So this has only saved me $109.00. Which doesn't even cover the additional cost of the ap. (myw upgrade to ap was about $200.00 more)

Cm said to try back & see if standard rm will be available at ap rate. Does this ever happen - should I call every day????? I am very disappointed. I am a 1st timer.

Help - What to do?????

Okay...just got off the phone. I did get my rate of $74 (without tax) for Pop...May 15-20. But I have to say that the CM I got was incredibly grumpy!!! She did take the fun out of the whole thing...sheesh. And then when I tried to make my DME reservations her response was..."Oh, I wish you had told me that in the beginning...now I have to go back into the reservation site. That will take a few minutes.." with a very big sigh. Thought it was her job to help me, guess not. She was the first CM I have ever gotten who was not very pleasant!

You must have gotten the CM I got yesterday. I asked about AP's got a nasty NO and then asked if she could make some ADR's and she said she would this one time but I really need to call.....blah blah blah....I got a great CM this morning.

Maybe I'll see you at Pop. I'll be there 5/19 to 5/23 celebrating DD's 7th birthday. I requested 50's Tramp, lake view, top floor-how about you? I'm so excited to try Pop for the first time.

I just decided to book with an AP and got AKL savannah for 230.00 per night. We were going to do the package with the DP, but the room savings were great!

Now you can get the DDE & save even more!

Called, go through talked to the BEST CM ever (MaryJo) who went through several different resorts for us and we settled on the Contemporary in a King Garden Wing Room! Thanks to all...CALL...don't wait for the website....CALL. The code again is EZN!

HI I am a newbie too! Our trip the first week of May is our first ever. After reading many threads over the past couple of months it seems that persistence(sp?) is the key. I would definitely keep trying but don't make yourself . Even your AAA rate is a good one! My rate at the CR garden view wing room w/AP is 250.80 w/tax. IMHO I would keep the AAA rate room and if an AP rate opens up on a standard room later--great. If not, you still have a great rate and you might be able to get a free room upgrade at check-in

I think I am most upset any myself. I have been hooked on this boards for the last few months. So I didn't call disney 1st thing this morning. I waited till I got to work and checked the boards first. then called. Don't really know if the rate was not available for just all gone. oh well - live and learn.

I'm with the previous poster and hope it's not the visa deal for ticket upgrade I want a package discont You know I wouldn't even know how great these discounts were if I hadn't found them 3 years ago on these boards. I would have been like all those other sorry souls and paid full price Please don't make me do that

I think the package ticket upgrade is going to be it for us plain folks.

I'll take it though, it's better than nothing.

I was able to save a little over the AAA rates.

I saved $22.00 on our 1 night 2 room POP Century stay on arrival night.

We then go to BWV using DVC points so couldnt do anything about that.

We then have a 1 night stay at WL that is complimentary, so nothing on that either, but it doesnt cost a thing!1

Then we had POFQ booked and we were saving $27 over AAA rates for 2 rooms, 1 night.

I later called back and switched POFQ to just finish out our stay at the WL Courtyard View on AP rate of 210/night for a total of $468 with tax for 2 rooms, 1 night. I am having the money from POFQ and the POP savings transferred to the WL room and it will cost me an extra $153 to stay at the WL instead of POFQ, so i feel it didnt me too bad.

I was originally looking for the 25, 40 and 100 off savings that were posted and was wondering why i wasnt getting it at first, then i remembered that was off rack rate and i already had AAA discount. Duh!!

She definately must have been having a bad day. When I called this morning and asked to make my DME ressie the CM said, "No problem, I will be happy to do that for you."

It is amazing what a difference CMs make to the Disney experience.

Call back again. The a/p codes are certainly out. I did not have to give call letters. In fact, I didn't know if it was ENZ or EZN. But, just tell them you want to book at the ap rate. You will get a CM that knows what to do.

I'm so mad!!! I've had my room booked for 05/03-05/09 at All Star Movies since early October, and I heard about the Disney Visa promo and was excited because I've never gotten to go to the waterparks or Disneyquest and I knew my son would love it. Can't really afford to add anything on so this was perfect. Anyways, I knew that it said that it started on 02/23 so I thought I had time. But then I read on the boards that they were already giving it to people so I called and the CM said that the # of promos for All Star Movies was already filled up and I couldn't have it applied. That is not fair!!! Why do they say that it starts on a certain day if they give it earlier???

Are you referring to the lowest priced room @ Cont. in the North or South wing? Thought rack was $279 and the Garden View was $350; LESS the $100 AP discount or $179+ and $250+.

Did I miss something or is there another room type @ the North/South wings?
