GraceandCaroline'smom, I feel so sorry for you!! Not that this is your first trip ever, but because (beginning upon the day you return from the World), you will become extremely obsessed with WDW and planning future trips that you will have to seek psychiatric intervention!!! . Isn't that why we are all here on page 63!!!!! You'll have a great time! It will be truly magical!!

Oh, how exciting for you Amanda. I hope you have a fantastic first trip! Where are you hoping to stay?

We are staying at the CR garden wing. I wanted to be as close to the action as possible and I love it that you can actually WALK to MK from the CR or take the monorail. My DDs are 7 and 5 and I know we will spend the majority of our time in MK. I also like the idea of having so many dining choices at the monorail hotels and having monorail access to Epcot for dining as well. We were originally going to stay in DTD at the Doubletree until I heard how long the bus service takes. I don't want to waste my vacation waiting on buses and my DD(5) has some special needs and waiting is not her strongsuit.

Crazy4mandms-I am already obssessed with planning for this trip...I can't imagine it getting any worse. These DIS boards are G-R-E-A-T! I have learned so much but my husband makes fun of me doing these posts. He thinks we are all a bunch of cakling hens. I told him there are also plenty of roosters here too

I really need these AP rates to be released so I can get my housework done....who am I kidding!!! Once the AP rates come out I will start obsessing about what to buy to take on the trip

Hi Amanda!

You are gonna have such a great time! We will be arriving at the World on May 6th - bummer I thought you were getting there then too, but now I see that's when you are leaving! We will be at the Polynesian for 9 tropical nights! You will love the convenience of being on the mono line - especially with kids. I have a DD-14 DD-5 and DS-3. The only problem is that you will now be spoiled and have to do the same for all future trips!

Amanda-be careful!

I bought our crew AP's so we could go Oct 04 and then the week earlier in Oct 05. I thought I was so smart. Then I discoverd Southwest Airlines with air fare for $115.60. That is non stop round trip! How could I say no to a spur of the moment trip last Aug? I got an AP on a value room and already had the park passes. Once you do that once you are hooked! Those AP's just scream out at you USE ME, USE ME, USE ME!!!! And to make matters worse if you hang around here you will soon find yourself planning another trip(S). I actually let my AP's expire in Oct. I even stayed off the boards for a few months. I was planning on a family trip in Aug using expire MWY passes until I got back here and then HAD to go for MY birthday. I found a few willing friends to go with me. Then I started feeling guilty about leaving the kids at home so I'm doing the trip with my DD. Then I know I'll have to take my DS and I don't think it will be long before my youngest figures it all out and will be asking for her trip. OH...it is a dangerous thing to purchase an AP when you've discovered the Dis!

We will be at the Poly on the 9th of May...for 10 days...

Oh you naughty, naughty,naughty DISers!! Trying to scare me out of buying one of those delicious AP passes where I can get hooked on the discounts, the magic, THE PIXIE DUST FOR A WHOLE YEAR....and then I suppose you feel pressured to renew because you can renew at a discount and then you must, of course, book again, and again to use the discounts, to feel the magic, and the pixie dust....I am already intoxicated by the thoughts of it all

And yet, I am still here. Watching the posts. Waiting patiently. Like the sweet Disney virgin that I am .....for the !#%*! codes to come out.

Too funny...I kept cking and cking my email for the newsletter too.

Though, I still haven't gotten it.

I was hoping, but kind of knew that there wouldn't be codes posted in the newsletter. I mean..I doubt they could be posted there before Dis actually releases them right?

This is such madness. I mean..I keep waiting and waiting. Wondering if I should double book 2 resorts in case. Wondering if I should change my ressie.

I just can't imagine AP codes WON'T come out. I'm sure we are all in the same boat there. It's just a matter of when. But it's driving me mad to come here and ck 5 million times a day.

Well we still have a lot more posts to go before we get to the...what was it...1500 mark. ARgh.
