April/May 2006 Code Watch

I have a question, my father-in-law lives in Florida, can he book a reservation for us and get the Florida rate if he paid with his credit card??? We're thinking of few days last week of April. Sometimes I think Disney just makes it soo hard for us hardworking folks hehe.

He would actually have to check in with you. They are pretty strict about FL residents. His name would have to be on the reservation as well.

I LOVE KRAMER!! My husband and I are big Seinfeld fans and around our house "giddy-up" is ALWAYS good

When we go to Disney this spring I am going to put a lime green "GIDDY-UP" on our door......Now if I could just find a better deal than my AAA...

Kramer would love a code for May too... GIDDYUP!

Check out my countdown timer, below in my signature; We're going to see Jerry Seinfeld on stage in Boston in 2 months! Now, THAT calls for a big "Giddy-Up!!" :earboy2:

:bounce: :wave2: Come on Disney! Come up with a great code for May so we can finalize this trip! :cheer2:

:bounce: :rolleyes1 :earsgirl: :earsboy:  :rotfl2: :wave2:

Mousesavers have no news as such BUT on the top of the page it says 'Last update 1/7/06' with nothing new evident yet on the page - is it wishful thinking or could something be in the works about late April/May discounts? Fingers crossed!!!!

The only part of the text on the page that's in red is the Florida Resident Discount section and it has the date of 4/08/06 (which is the last date the discount would apply) in red. Unfortunately, I think that was the only update. :(

In 2003 I did this. My stepmom and siblings were meeting us at Disney. I used her name and address on the reservation and paid with my credit card. She checked us in. The CM reminded us on the phone at time of res that the person checking us in would have to show proof of FLA residency.

That's the weird thing though - the red text relating to the Florida Resident discounts has been there for three or 4 days with no change made to it so when I saw the heading last night with yesterday's date I thought something new was on the way. Wishful thinking.
 Oh well, maybe there'll be something soon. :)

The only thing different from the 1/5 update and the 1/7 update is they changed the code. The rates and the dates the code is good remained the same.

I just spoke to CRO and she said Florida Resident dates are out through 4/8/06 (although not yet reflected on the website).

She said she doesn't think Easter weekend will have any discounts.

Something weird going on with the annual pass BRP yesterday it was good for visits through apr 13th ,this morning it has changed to good through apr 8th.

You just beat me to it. I was just posting the same thing. This matches the date for the FL AP rates with CODES. I am wondering with all the complaining maybe they might be going back that way again.

I just booked todat for Feb 1-5 at the AKL, and got it for $109/ night. Totally cool.!! :hyper:

I'm also keep my eyes open for May. I'd like to get there for the 1st or 2nd week in May, but still no deals out for that yet......I hope soon.

We are planning a trip to Disney World in May. We went last year the last week of April. It was a tad crowded and there were grad nights at Magic Kingdom. This year we cannot decide between May 3-7 (there will be grad nights) or May10-14 (Mother's Day weekend). Please, please give me some input. We have a 2 year old and a 6 year old and will spend most of our time at Magic Kingdom. Will it be more crowded one week than the other? Also hoping for a room-only code. Thanks!!
