Trying to figure out when would be the best time to go between March 1st and April 29th.
There is no work or children to consider at the moment, so we're wide open, but we're hoping to miss or at least reduce contact with spring break crowds.

We are also looking for best dates in April. I do see Star Wars Convention is April 16-19 so those dates are definitely out for us.

We are going 20th - 26th April, from what i have seen it should be pretty good crowd wise 20th - 29th April hopefully! Most of the rides are back up and running apart from a few, we will miss the 60th celebrations and new parades that start 22nd May but will get to see the current Fantasmic, World of Colour shows so am happy with that.

Yeah I know the new stuff is going on in May, but if all goes well with this trip we'll be picking up annual passes and going back in September or October for Halloween...

Here in Phoenix, AZ spring break for our local schools is the last week of March (leading up to Easter Sunday), so that may be a week you want to avoid. If it were me, FWIW, I'd go towards the end of April after the Star Wars event.

Happy travels!

I've been tracking some events and school breaks in the 2015 Calendar of Events & School Breaks and DLR thread.

In general, DLR appears to be starting their "Spring Break"-season schedule on Friday, March 13. This means longer park hours and more entertainment, but also likely higher crowds. The week before and after Easter have the AP blockouts in effect, which generally means that is when the parks are expected to see the peak "Spring Break" crowds. There are several school districts with spring break that falls outside of this period, which is probably why "Spring Break" schedule runs for about a month (usually). There are also some trade shows (e.g., Natural Product Exp), conventions (WonderCon and Star Wars Celebration), and cheer competitions happening during March and April.

My guess is that early-to-mid March or mid-to-late April are going to be your best bets in terms of crowds. Weekdays (Mon to Thu) are likely to be the lowest crowds, with higher crowds on weekends (Fri to Sun).
