April Fools (from a 9 year old)

DS's friend from across the street just came over to ask if DS could play. DS said no because he hasn't had breakfast yet. So they talk for a couple minutes at the door. Friend says, "Guess what, I broke my leg yesterday." DS asks why he doesn't have a cast on. Friend said they ran out of them. DS says, "I hope you feel better soon". The kid then leaves and we watch him first limp and then drag his leg behind him, back to his house. Before he came over I saw him running around his front yard. I started laughing because he looked hilarious. I asked DS if he knew what the date was. "Oh, April Fools!"

So now he's trying to come up with a joke he can play on the kid. Any ideas?

Sorry...I can't think of any April's Fools jokes.

I'm just so glad that today is not a school day. I'm a teacher & when this day is a school day...the jokes are never ending. Ohhhh...

Well it could be a little mean but have DS invite him over for a day trip to Chuckie Cheese or something in the area .

Then when he comes take them to the Grocery store like you know nothing about the CC trip then have DS say Aprils' fool to him.You could always say something like I NEEDED CHEESE not CHUCKIE CHEESE

This morning I told my little brother they cancelled April Break. Worked like a charm

My kids (4 & 5) came running in this morning saying there were a bunch of hens in the backyard. I was still sleepy and I fell for it. BUT I then asked them if they'd seen the snow yet.

DD got all exicted and started yelling "I snowed in spring? How cool!" They ran to the window and I said April fools!

Then they ran to wake dh up and used the snow one. Got him too!
