I took Samantha, my youngest, when she was that age :) I loved watching my kids grow up at Disney

Wow..it still feels so very far away :( So what is everyone doing to pass them time until then? lol....

Well, I keep reading the DISboards. Lol. I've been looking into shore excursions, too. We've been to all these ports before but I'm sure I'll find something new. Sometimes the anticipation and planning is as fun as the trip!

I am headed to 8 countries this summer. Then I am headed to Fiji for 15 nights over Thanksgiving. I am headed to Disneyland in Sept and Disney World in Sept. (Actually, World before Land)

Other than that, just counting down the days. I figure I will get the airfare late jan Early feb

Well, there must be a lot more reservations for this cruise than people on this thread :). I just tried to add a 16-yr-old to this leg of our reservation and there's no room!

So, people should start to post on here pretty soon!

Happy Holiday Weekend to those celebrating!

OH NO!! We were thinking about adding my daughters friend. I wonder if that is true of the April 4th one. No one is on that thread except me.

Hi Jessica!! :yay:

If you will be happy with your inside stateroom (and I'm not saying you shouldn't be - we cruise inside much of the time), then you could wait to upgrade either after the due date for full payment because rooms often open up then or at the port. But since this is Spring Break for many families, my guess is that the ship will be pretty full and not too many people will cancel. If you really want a different room, I'd call now and see what's available. Of course, you'll pay whatever the going rate it but it all depends on how content you will be with your room type.

We're already looking forward to the cruise! Hope you are as well!

Sharon

Thanks I didn't know it was spring break week I'm from Massachusetts our kids go on break April 20th but I'm so excited April 9th is my birthday and this is my first time going on vacation with my little one she was given the choice of Disney or the cruise and picked the cruise :) I don't mind an inside room I'm just concerned about reviews I read on our specific room I don't plan on being in it much haha

This is my 1st Disney Cruise and I'm so excited. My husband and I have been on 2 other cruises with other lines but this time we are taking our son (will be 9 by sailing time). I think I'm more excited than they are! also my first time on a forum... new to this :)

Welcome to the group.
I'm sure your 9yo will have a great time

Does anyone else feel like this cruise is so far away??
Since this is my first one, can anyone tell me what I should be doing to get ready?
Tiffany

I feel like I should be making plans for the cruise as well but we have a long time! I have been looking into parasailing excursions for the youth in our party while we're in Key West. They might end up going on Castaway Cay. Has anyone done that?
