This is our family's (me, dh, and 9 year old dd) first Disney Cruise and my first time on this forum. I am excited about the trip being only a week a way but a little stressed I haven't had time to check more into special and fun things going on. So after reading on here a bit, I feel a bit unprepared. Is there anything I need to know that I can do anything about in less than a week? Thanks so much!

For those of you surprising your kids this morning with the cruise, I would love to hear stories/see pictures! getting excited!!!

We had huge eggs hidden along with the regular ones. The boys were opening the eggs, and naturally gravitated to the large shiny ones. When they only saw papers with words they were wondering where the candy was. Finally our 7 year old (it was his b-day) started to put them together like puzzle. They worked together and read it aloud. I think they said "We are going on a Disney cruise" about 6 times before we said 'say it slowly and think'. Then they got it and started screaming and jumping around and on each other. It was the BEST!!

Well my thoughts on making for a better cruise


an over the door shoe rack in clear plastic for all the little stuff like razors,shaving cream, q tips,brushes, hair thingies,toothbrush, paste, medicine, it will make it alot EASIER for all, then a power strip or cord, strip is best, these 2 things have been priceless for me !!!!! hope it helps,

Question for FE group 1. Do we have a certain schedule for who delivers when or just whenever? Sorry never done FE before!

You just deliver it whenever you want. We usually do it after dinner the first night, but it can be anytime. It is so much fun to get up in the morning and have a surprise, or return from lunch. or from swimming, or just look outside your door and see something there. If you're delivering your things and someone opens the door, I usually come back later, but no biggy. Just have fun and enjoy it Don't worry about when or where.
