Our plans for the Easter bucket (we've always done a sand pail rather than a basket) is to mainly fill it with items from the ship. Many of these items I'd be buying anyway; so the furry guy might as well bring souvenirs from the double D.

Strick weight limitson transatlantic flights...and my girls have plans for all of ours so we will have to give it a miss this trip (I tend to over do it a little...I know I don't have to...but...) so apologies if this is a bit late in the day

I will add you and your friends to the FE list. I am glad that you will be able to join us. We are not too far from your room, as we are in 7069 and 7071.. We also have a 13 (almost 14) year old daughter too. Close to your daughters age. She has started a kids thread if your daughter is interested. I will have her post a link to it. I will also explain FEs in another post shortly. I have to do a few things and then I will be able to explain FE a little more.

Hi BJ,
Here is some info on FE. Fish Extenders ( FE) is a game that you play on board with other disboarders. Before the cruise, you buy goodies for both the adults and kids that are in the FE group . Some cruises that have a lot of people have 2 groups, but this one only has 1 group. Some of the stuff that I have gotten are- items from your state, cruise survival kits, homemade arts and crafts, candy, and other small trinkets. My kids have also gotten pencils, magnets, postcards, candy, disney items, pirate stuff, notebooks, and other small trinkets. Then on the cruise you deliver the goodies to people on the ship whenever you want. You deliver these goodies to their staterooms in their extender located on the fish outside of their stateroom. You can make an extender by using a bag or make your own with several pockets for each family member. I think that there is more info on extenders and pictures too on the DCL cruise info list.

My daughter really enjoyed talking to your daughter too. I too think that it is great we are so close, I agree we will have to have our daughters meet the 1st day. Don't worry, I still have to get everything for F.E. too, probably will have to start doing that sooner than later. I can't wait for this cruise either!

What a coincidence! We'll both be on the Dream cruise at the same time and I'm also doing a last minute trip to DL on 2/25-2/29. Feeling a little guilty though because the kids won't be going with us to DL. But I'm sure my frown will turn upside down once I'm in the Land!

We've stayed at the RI before and really liked it. Nice to have a kitchen and cook a lot of your own meals. The kids are getting excited, as I am sure you are too. Hard to believe that the cruise is only 52 days away!
