April 5, 2009 Disney Wonder 4-night

Thanks!...I will have to check out the Disney Cruise Line group on Facebook!!!

What a cutie! That is the first time I have seen the castle at DL.

Lindsey has a facebook. I do too actually. I joined the Disney Cruise Line group on it. There are networks for everything now!
I hope she will try the club out. I think she would enjoy it. I'll tell her that your son thought it was fun. She is not one to jump into the unknown..haha! Teenage girls.... :sad2:

Thanks we're super excited. Do you know if for the teen club if the teens need to be registered?

Nope, the teens do not need to be registered.... they can pretty much come and go as they please. So, if your kid(s) are responsible, you shouldn't worry. "Check-in" system with the parents works well. Remember, most nights the Aloft closes at around 1 or 2 am, so if you don't want your child out that late, give them a meeting time/place. pirate:

Teens should definitely go to the Loft on the first night... mainly, to get the introduction. The cast may put them in groups and send them on a scavenger hunt around the ship. On our first cruise, my DS was paired up with a kid who was on the Corey in the House show. :happytv:

As for the "teen only" excursions, they DO need to register/pay for those in advance. There is one that I know of...a bike ride on Castaway Cay, which is really cool. :moped:

Hope this helps!:thumbsup2

We just got back from AAA and we are now booked on the April 5 cruise!! :cool1: It will be our first time on a Disney Cruise.

Good for you!! I wonder why you weren't able to book online last week with your child. I guess someone dropped out- why would anyone do that!!

Ya'll are going to love the cruise!!

Who all is going with you?

When we called Disney they said that the kid's clubs were full for that age, but if we booked a suite then we could take the child anyway :confused3, oh well, there will hopefully be more cruises after this one. It will be me(17) and my mom.

Since this is our first cruise, any ideas where we should eat lunch on the first day??:confused3 I heard they tell you where to go, but others have just gone where they want.:)

Welcome to the thread and YEA:thumbsup2 about your cruise!

We went to Parrot Cay and it was very good. We chose to eat there because it was more resturant like than Beach Blanket. We also boarded fairly early in the day, so we had time to eat a relaxing meal then tour the ship. It was still fairly deserted at the time.

I have read that the menus are the same, if that helps any.

I just checked on the disney cruise website. It looks like our cruise is sold out as it did not even display any choice for our date. Counting down till our first cruise.:)

I wonder when we will get our cruise documents. We had to book a GTY room so we were not able to pick our room. I wonder where they will put me???:confused3

I am so ready for our cruise!!!

Everywhere I have read it says documents are sent out 2 weeks before the cruise date. I can't wait we are super excited!!

:scared:

We did the "guarantee" with our first cruise and it was so exciting!!!
Our room ended up on Deck 6 Aft....which is where we like to book now. It is the most quiet deck and in the Aft there is a stairwell that takes you to a secluded sun deck (on deck 7) which is perfect for reading and lounging.... so that is where I will be hanging out when I need a little peace and quiet....

Time is not going by fast enough.... April, April, April...come on!!!!:hyper:

Have any of ya'll been to Atlantis? We are booked to do the "Beach Day", which doesn't include the water parks. We are going to Typhoon Lagoon when we get back because the Atlantis Water park is so expensive.

Just wondering if anyone has been there and what are your thoughts?

Hi to all our fellow cruisers:cool1: ... This will be my first cruise.. I'm soo excited and soo worried.. It will be me, Dh( this will be his second DC, he loves it and talked the family into it), baby Girl ( turned one last week), DS (9yo) and Ds (13 yo). Everyone is uper excited... We are signed up for the nursery and signed Teen DS up for the teen Trip; he is excited, he usually is very shy but can't wait to do "TEEN ONLY" things.. Hope to see ya all there.. would love to get to know you guys...

You will love it!!!!

Well I just finished most of the on line check in stuff:goodvibes . Only need my husband to find his passport so I can enter it.
Any reason why they need to know our flight info after getting off the ship if we are not using the DCL transportation??:confused3
Also, anyone know if everyone has to put luggage out the night before, or is is only for those using the DCL and luggage transport system??

We all all getting very excited. Hoping for nice and warm weather after the cold winter here in the midwest.
