I think there are still a few schools on spring break in early April, but I'm not really sure of how many.

You can check to see what's going at the Anaheim Convention Center at:

It looks like there are nurse and teacher conventions during part of your dates.

My DD's Spring Break is from March 31-April 6, but she goes to Cal State Long Beach. I think it will be crowded, but not as bad as the two weeks prior. Have a wonderful trip!

My son Lives in Carlsbad/San Diego area his Spring Break is the week of April 7th.

I think there's still a lot of schools with spring break this month, at least in Washington and Utah. My kids spring break is the 7-11, and my friends kids have it the week before. Also, my SIL's kids are out the first week in April (they are in Utah). I'd still go expecting crowds...better to be prepared.
