So I officially jumped on the boat and will be joining this very merry group. I was able to snag an inside cabin and convince my husband that a two week Disney cruise to Hawaii would be the very best 10 year anniversary trip ever - especially our first trip ever without kids. (We never got a honeymoon) Maybe I should just bill this as our honeymoon, only had wait 10 years! :cool1:

:welcome: aboard

Val: I agree with the others that have posted. Thank you for all the work and as long as you want to continue working on it, go for it.

Jon

Welcome aboard. This will be your 10th anniversary (honeymoon) cruise and it is our 20th anniversary cruise. We are very excited for this trip. Look forward to meeting other DISer's.:cool1:

Well, I learned to say "Congratulations!" to the groom, and for some reason, "Best wishes" is more appropriate for the bride -- because she has to deal with the man? -- so congratulations to you both. We wish you both the best. Like full equality, maybe?

Don't you mean AUBURN! That's the real orange and blue.

Now i'm not a team sports fan, but isn't it the colors for syracuse university and some football team from colorado, too? I thought I heard that.

Actually, now that you mention it, it's OUR 35th - and we never had a honeymoon either!

. . . The old designs I had posted really needed the characters - I think. I had tried other images but they didn't seem to work. Last night, after reading your message, I took another try at the lst idea, the green and brown converted to blue flowers. I am not happy with what I am coming up with but will keep trying.

Oh that's right. I just remembered how much I loved them. Carry on - you're doing a FINE job.

Those are the colors of my favorite NFL team, the Denver Broncos.

Well, maybe we should have a "Honeymoon / Anniversary meet at Cove Cafe"...

Yes I knew about Syracuse because one of my cheerleaders (I'm a cheerleading tumbling coach---undefeated in our section for several years now!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:--- for those who might not have known that before) who graduated 2 years ago is on the SU co-ed cheerleading squad. She got to go to the final four games (I think that's what it's called) and was on TV this past year. Pretty exciting...so because I konw her, I know their colors (and they're a pretty good basketball team, too, apparently....otherwised I'd be clueless!:rotfl2:)

I was lucky enough to book early and have my reservation for Hawaii. I cannot wait...Barbara

:bride: :groom: Our first cruise was a 4 night on the MAGIC for our 30th Anniversary and also was the honeymoon we never had. Our boys were 19 and 23 and away at college so no babysitters were involved.:lmao:

Tried to used the #1 voted old design and bring in my idea of non-obvious Disney characters with our Disney cruise theme. Also wanted a little more tropical color. Not sure if I like it or not. Keep in mind this is to scale. This represents a 12 by 12 image so the text would be much larger, as would be the pictures.

Clever how you've managed to include SO MUCH information in a design that still appears cohesive and balanced. I like it:goodvibes

Well, I've spent the last few days trying to catch up w/all the postings (trying not to miss anything), and I want to say:

Big congrats to Erik and Jason :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:. Live long and prosper!

Big thanks to Va :worship::worship::worship:l. I love, love, love the idea of DIS Hawaiian shirts. We would definitely take 2.

Hayley, how are you feeling? One of my DDs is due on 8/17 (C-section scheduled) and she looks like she's about to burst!

Finally, a big welcome to our newest cruisers! :goodvibes

I love it but two suggestions, I don't think every lei Mickey head has to have something inside of it...some can be open and maybe use only things cruise related. The castle has no meaning to me on a Disney cruise to Hawaii, but date, maps, ship etc really do....can we stick as DIS in there LOL? Almost forgot....I love setting Mickey sun!!!!

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Finally cooled off sufficiently to turn the AC off. I can't WAIT to see my power bill this month.:scared1:

Only a month and a bit to go before the WBTA - right now, that's getting the focus of my attention. Wish y'all were going on THAT too:goodvibes

Happy Day, all!

Welcome on board.

I like a lot of the designs on Wet Dog too. I'll give them a call Monday and see what they are willing to do. I tried yesterday but they aren't open on Fridays. Maybe they are willing to use the characters, but somehow I doubt it. Is there a none character driven logo we like? Brooklyn, any ideas?

I am looking forward to see what they are saying. The reason why they caught my eye is that they shirts in their gallery have a lot of copyrighted images and logos on them including something that looks suspiciously like the dog from Garfield.

I wish I was on it too. I was to do it last year but the airfare to BCN was just way to much. Same this year. It really is a shame as DCL was giving us airline employes a great deal. I think I could have had a Cat 4A for 2 people for 1400. Really good rate. The airfare for two was the same price.

Do you not get interline deals for flights? I flew from Orlando back home after the WBTA for less than $100. I know it is riskier to fly standby to a cruise, but with a buffer of a couple of days it should be OK.

See that was the problem with both, we want Food and Wine time at WDW. So no buffer time which ment no flying SB to BCN.
